Kate Walsh treated herself to some pampering at the Kate Somerville spa in Los Angeles today (September 15).
Following her facial, the Private Practice actress looked radiant as she carried a bagful off goodies back to her car.
Meanwhile, after making an appearance on the taping of the upcoming Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen last week, Kate is opening up about her raunchier side.
“I do have a little bit of raunch,” she tells USA Today. “I’m half-Irish after all. So come on.”
Kate admits it might be a big shock for fans of her show to see her R-rated roast session. When asked what they should know before tuning in, she replied: “Viewer discretion advised. I’d say, take it easy everybody, it’s a little bit of a bumpy ride.”
As for what Kate was doing there in the first place? Practicing her improv, of course.
“And it was a good exercise in masochism to come up here,” she says.
Kate admits that when she signed on to be part of the show, she had at least one sleepless night. “I was like, ‘Oh my God, what am I doing,” she says. “I have never done a roast before.”
But all’s well that ends well. “No regrets,” says Kate. “You never want to rest on your laurels. You want to keep doing things that terrify you.”
